These are the questions that come up most often on WhatsApp and at the design visit. If yours is not here, message us and ask. We would rather answer it before you book anything than after.
Is the design visit really free?
Yes. There is no call out fee, no design fee and no charge for the quote, whether you go ahead or not.
We call out, measure the room, talk through what you want and our designers produce full 3D plans. You get those plans and one complete itemised quote, usually within two working days. Nothing is charged and nothing is ordered unless you say yes.
There is no obligation attached to any of it, and no chasing from us either way. If it is not right, or the timing is wrong, that is a perfectly normal outcome.
Why do you not publish prices?
Because a number quoted without seeing the room is a guess, and we would rather give you a real figure than a headline one.
Two kitchens the same size can differ enormously depending on the amount of cabinetry, the finishes, the worktop and how far the services have to move. The same is true of a wardrobe, a media wall or a set of windows. Any figure published without those details is either the cheapest possible version or meaningless.
What we do instead is measure, design it in 3D and give you one itemised quote you can compare line by line against anyone else's. You can see exactly what each part costs and change it before committing.
Worth being straight about the other half of this: we are not the cheapest option. The work is made to measure and fitted by our own team, and it is priced to that standard.
How long does a job take?
It depends entirely on the job, and you get the sequence in writing with your quote before anything starts.
A set of internal doors or a fitted wardrobe is usually a small number of days on site. A full kitchen involves manufacture time before fitting begins. Windows depend on how many openings there are.
What matters more than the headline number is knowing the order things happen in and how long you are without a working room. That is set out with the quote rather than left vague.
Do you do the whole job or just supply?
We design, supply and fit with our own team. It is one contractor rather than a supplier and a separate fitter.
That is the main difference between us and a lot of kitchen companies. There is no handover point where a supplier blames a fitter or the other way round, and one person is accountable for the finish.
Where structural work is involved, such as an extension or removing a wall, your builder does that and we fit out afterwards, working to their programme.
What if something goes wrong afterwards?
Windows and doors carry a ten year warranty against defects, and items we make in wood carry two years, in both cases against defects.
You deal with us directly rather than with a manufacturer. Because the same team designed, supplied and fitted the job, there is no question about whose responsibility something is.
Message the same WhatsApp number you used at the start. It is the same people.
What areas do you actually cover?
Dublin, Meath, Kildare and Wicklow.
We call out anywhere in those four counties for the free design visit. If you are just outside and want to ask, message us and we will give you a straight answer rather than a maybe.
There is no charge for travel within that area and no minimum job size to get a visit.
How it works
We call out, measure the space and talk through what you want. Our designers draw it in 3D so you see the finished piece in your own room, and you get one complete itemised quote within two working days. Nothing is ordered and nothing is charged until you say yes.
One team for this and the rest of the job
The same team that makes this fits it, and we also do kitchens, fitted wardrobes, internal doors and windows. If more than one thing needs doing, it is one contractor, one schedule and one point of contact rather than four. See the rest of our work.
