How it works, start to finish

Five steps from first message to finished job, and what happens at each. Dublin, Meath, Kildare and Wicklow.

Every job is priced individually after a free, no-obligation design visit. No call-out fee, no pressure.

Most people have never done this before, so not knowing what happens next is normal. This is the whole process, in order, with the point at which money is involved marked clearly. Nothing is charged and nothing is ordered until you have seen the design and the quote and said yes.

Step one: you message us

Send a WhatsApp with a rough idea of what you want and where you are. That is genuinely all that is needed to start.

Photos of the room help but are not required. If you have architect plans, send those instead. We will come back with any questions and arrange a time to call out that suits you, including evenings.

Nothing is committed at this point and there is no cost attached to asking.

Step two: the free design visit

We come to the house, measure properly and talk through what you actually want the room to do.

The measure is the part that matters. Rooms in Irish houses are rarely square, walls lean, and floors are not level. Everything that follows is built off these measurements rather than off a standard size.

The conversation matters just as much. How you use the room, what annoys you about it now, what has to fit in it. That is what shapes the design, and it is why we do this in person rather than over email.

Step three: your 3D design

Our designers draw the room in 3D so you see the finished result from every angle before anything is made.

This is where changes are free. Moving a run of units, changing a door style, trying a different colour, all of it costs nothing at this stage and a great deal once manufacture starts.

It is also where the things a flat drawing hides become obvious: a wall unit that boxes in a window, a walkway that is too tight, a tall unit fighting the ceiling line.

Step four: one itemised quote

You get a complete quote, itemised line by line, usually within two working days of the visit.

Itemised matters because it lets you compare properly. You can see what each element costs, take something out, change a finish, and see exactly what that does to the total. A single bottom line number tells you nothing and makes comparison impossible.

You take your time with it. There is no expiry pressure and no chasing from us.

Step five: manufacture and fitting

Once you say yes, it is made to your measurements and fitted by the same team that designed it.

You get the sequence and the dates in writing before anything starts, including how long you are without a working room. Manufacture happens off site, so the disruptive part at your house is shorter than most people fear.

The same people are accountable from first measure to final finish. If something is not right, you talk to us, not to a supplier.

What it costs you to find out

Nothing. The visit, the 3D design and the itemised quote are all free and carry no obligation.

There is no call out fee, no design fee and no charge for the quote. If you decide against it, or the timing is wrong, that is a normal outcome and there is no follow up pressure.

The only thing you spend is an hour or so at the design visit.

How it works

We call out, measure the space and talk through what you want. Our designers draw it in 3D so you see the finished piece in your own room, and you get one complete itemised quote within two working days. Nothing is ordered and nothing is charged until you say yes.

One team for this and the rest of the job

The same team that makes this fits it, and we also do kitchens, fitted wardrobes, internal doors and windows. If more than one thing needs doing, it is one contractor, one schedule and one point of contact rather than four. See the rest of our work.

Frequently asked questions

How soon can you come out?

Usually within a few days, and we will work around your evenings if that suits better.

Do I need to have decided anything first?

No. Most people have a rough idea and nothing else, which is exactly what the design visit is for.

How long between saying yes and the job starting?

It depends on manufacture time for what you have chosen. The dates go in writing with the quote.

What areas do you cover?

Dublin, Meath, Kildare and Wicklow. The design visit is free and there is no obligation.
